Executive Coach

Joe Devine is a retired healthcare President & CEO from the Kennedy Health System, which became part of the Jefferson Health System. He then served as President of Jefferson New Jersey and Executive Vice President, Jefferson Health until he retired. He spent over 35 years in leadership positions. He became a certified leadership coach in 2022.

Joe was also the former Chair of the New Jersey Hospital Association and long-time board member. He is also the former Chair of the Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey and remains an active member of its Executive Committee. He continues to work on various charity boards and as a former commissioner of the South Jersey Transportation Authority, is a strong advocate for New Jersey and its people.

Since his retirement from healthcare, he has remained active as an engaged speaker on leadership, strategy, workplace culture, change management and social responsibility for organizations.

Joe has his own coaching business ExecUcoach Leadership and has also coached clients, as a senior consultant for WJM Associates, an international based coaching firm. His coaching clients cover multiple industries, including transportation, real estate development firms, engineering and design organization, financial industry, healthcare, higher education and not for profit entities.

His passion for coaching was based on his own personal experiences with leadership coaches during his career. He now enjoys helping leaders, at all levels, to enhance their personal leadership development skills, and navigating an impact in their careers. He also facilitates strategic meetings for boards and business leaders on workplace culture and leadership transitions.

Joe is a Professor of Practice at Rowan University, Rohrer College of Business, where he lectures frequently, and co-hosts “The Simply Dynamic Podcast” focused journeys of successful leaders and is Chair of Rowan’s MBA Advisory Board.
